Job Description:
- Assemble precut wood parts into cabinets, checkout counters, displays, and other custom fixtures
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of materials and tools used in assembly of fixtures
- Previous experience as a cabinetmaker or custom assembler
Duties:
- Assemble parts into quality fixtures within specifications of customers
Responsibilities:
- Communicates and co-operate effectively with co-workers
- Demonstrates a professional attitude when approaching work assignments
- Displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks on time
- Follow Company and Safety policies
- To work 8 hour days, sometimes overtime
- To follow through and finish tasks with little or no supervision
- To keep accurate records for recall of customer’s requirements for custom projects
Specifications:
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and instructions
- Possess good woodworking skills and continue to learn new skills as needed
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Able to lift up to 10# and stand continuously
- Has knowledge of materials and processes relating to our products
Job Relationships:
- Reports directly to Group Leader
- Works with co-workers, Group and Assistant Group Leader, and Production Manager
